With great enthusiasm i opened the  newspaper to see the happy news of your success. But i was greatly shocked when i found your roll number missing in the news paper . Had i none it before i would have to revise such a shocking news, i would not  have gone through the result.

You should not take your failure to heart. Your long illness before your examination troubled your  studies.  Moreover,your mother was sick and you had to look after all the household affairs.
All these are responsible your failure. We all know about your brilliant  result in the previous examinations.. I do still believe that, next year  you will make a brilliant result .
